Horner "we'll have to design out own and incorporate it" I knew they didn't have one ready there hasn't been anywhere near enough time with the shutdown, amazed some people actually though they would have one ready for FP3

If they have not started to work on it yet, they likely won't at all, as it should be illegal for next year, or at least the wording of the regulation was changed with that intention apparently.

Any idea what compound Ricciardo just did his lap on?

Ham faster than Vettel on a harder compound.

RP could be on the 2nd row here when they turn the Mercedes PU up.

Agreed, Perez could get P3, not sure about Stroll though he is more erratic he could be anywhere between 4th and 10th.

usually these high speed tracks are where Stroll does best on. He has always been in touch with his team mates in Austria over the years (2017 +0,074s, 2018 -0,058s, 2019 +0,043s)

The first couple of races will be his only chance to do so. Racing Point's advantage will get smaller and smaller in next weeks and months. Andy Green has already told that they will bring only one upgrade package until the end of the season. Not so surprising though - it's not even their own project.

If RP does well in quali, I'd expect another protest from RBR and maybe others.

Concerning Ferrari, they were 0.7s(?) slower than in 2019. Not even one quali simulation, I'd assume.

What black magic is this. Hamilton's time is the same as FP3 last year. Most others also have similar times, except Ferrari and Racing Point.
