That was a mighty lap for Bottas, would have been interesting to see his lap without that off. He was the king of sector 2 today!
That's because the other guy in the dominating car is currently distracted by politics. Once BLM is out of media all will be fine again.
Wow, could you come up with something worse than that? Amazing.
What's so hard to face the reality?

Wow that Mercedes pace on a short track makes you wonder what the gap will be on a longer track, solid lap from Botta's by 0.012, he's under pressure with Seb as a free agent for next year so he needs that.

Red Bull slower than last year too.
Maybe Honda lost power as well.

What's so hard to face the reality? Dream on buddy.
Go say that to Lewis' face, let's see how it goes :) Seems you're the one unable and unwilling to face reality. Bye.

Valtteri, it's last lap. Let Lewis pass for the championship! Let Lewis pass for the championship! Valtteri, please.

with only 8-15 races, every point counts.
Or will be BOT allowed to win WDC against HAM?

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Mercedes would be mad to put Vettel alongside Hamilton.

What was that commentary from Lewis' interview there? Not what you'd expect in the post Q interview, it felt pointed. CURIOUS indeed.

My take away

-Bottas using some Rosberg tactics
-McLaren much faster than I thought
-Mercedes over designed another winner
-Ferrari is f*cked, slower than last year
-Bottas and Hamilton have broken social distancing rules
-Ferrari had some kind of trick engine mode from comments Brundle made(I suspect he's heard something)
-Racing Point at least at this track doesn't look as impressive as I would have thought.(could be track specific)

One thing is sure, Bottas will NOT retire if he does with the WDC!

He was coming even faster, also i think no one is argue that was an honest off, he was using every inch and his car touched the gravel.

Edit: Already negatively surprised lol

I can definitely see that scenario at Red Bull or Ferrari. Not Mercedes.

Potentially, yes. Honda was chasing their own party mode, which was nothing but excess oil burning. With Mercedes providing all the guidance to FIA, Honda seems to have been affected with the additional fuel monitoring sensor.

Not surprised one bit by the 0.5+

I am however surprised Hamilton has not sorted out his qualifying woes since last season. He will likely lead after the first lap, but it’s going to really start playing on his mind if he can’t get on top of that one lap pace. Just imagine if somebody actually fast like Max was his teammate.
