Come on Brundle. Hamilton is a great driver, but he's not the second coming of Christ.

Seb made the mistake of trying the overtake but, having messed up, he tried to avoid the other car and thus spun. So at least he didn't take someone else out by his mistake.

Hamilton within 0.5s but the director showing Leclerc driving 1.5sec behind Norris?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Why aren’t we seeing the actual race for the lead?

BBC live commentary saying that Hamilton asked for a different tyre to that which they've given him. He was trying to roll the dice and they wouldn't let him.

If the Mercs are going to be told to not race in this situation when the only credible opposition is out of the race and they are so far ahead, in the first race of the season, then that would be very depressing.

They don\t have to be that cryptic anymore. These days they can just say "hold position"
