Hamilton climbing all over Bottas basically saying to the team "you decide, mate, because I'm not backing off otherwise".

That’s multi 21 basically, that message
They don\t have to be that cryptic anymore. These days they can just say "hold position"
You’re right but this is a PR machine for Mercedes - the fact they it included 2-1 with Bottas in front seems too much to be a coincidence.

In fairness, they've done the same thing in the opposite direction so it's fair enough really.

That wasn’t my point. I’ve always stated I hate this kind of stuff it ruins the spectacle.

Let it be an end to the silly notion that Mercedes have a number 1 driver and a number 2 driver.

Perhaps the only opportunity left for Hamilton is the upcoming traffic and lapping of cars. Might create an opportunity. Other than that, no chance to pass on track. The safety car killed the race. If it had not been, Hamilton could have created a tire offset by pitting later.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

The team want 1 - 2 and aren't that bothered which driver is in which position. If you pay the big bucks to be there, you get to make the call.

The team won't give him that unless Bottas also takes them.

Albon could have some good times here.
