Remember when you told me that Mercedes already showed their hand in preseason testing and red Bull would be right there with them? No Apology needed....

You were right. I'll admit when I'm wrong. No shame in that, otherwise you don't learn.

Funniest scene was seeing Racing Point garage going wild over 3rd and 4th - with a car they didn't build.

We saw this in testing Mercedes found a way to seal the rear floor along with other improvements throughout the car and this is the result, nothing is surprising me at all and what a beautiful lap from Lewis for his 90th pole.

STR seems to be quick with quick cars that give him confidence.
PER can't be that bad. Or?
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Well they did build it. Just had a bit of ‘inspiration’ in the design.

TBH it’s good. Adding to all the spice behind the Mercedes.

Ferrari have still massively dropped the ball this season - and there’s nothing to be proud of being so far behind Mercedes and behind the Racing Points - but being ahead of both RBs (and a long way ahead of Albon who, you tend to feel, is more representative of the ‘real’ pace of the car - given the advantage Max has had vs both of his last two teammates) shows how it’s not just them in ‘crisis’; I’d like to see if there are so many vultures circling them with the same glee they had at lambasting Ferrari for their current woes.

I'm 100% sure that they built the car.

I think when a guy with the years of experience that Martin Brundle has says ‘WOW I’ve never seen a car react like that before’ in regard to Hamilton just slinging it into a corner then you know it’s extraordinary (I know the times show it anyway).

Oh come on they built the car fair and square, designing it on the other hand is a totally different story, they do have totally different suspension internals though....
