So happy they've managed to get this organised. I was really thinking the British grand prix would be missing from the calendar this season. While I can't say the situation has been handed perfectly here in general and there are questions to be answered, I'm glad it's at least to a point where it's possible to hold the two events. It definitely coincides with the 'sweet spot' between the initial peak and any potential second wave which is lucky.

Fingers crossed for two exciting races! Looks like very similar (dry) weather conditions for each one, as things stand right now.

1:24.3 for Hamilton pole, Verstappen about a second slower. Then .5 seconds behind once again in race pace. Hopefully Silverstone 2 will be better.

Another power track, so expecting pink ones to do similarly well compared to rb here. Ferrari will be further back than they were in hungary with their utter crap engine.

Regarding the weather, we planned a barbecue for yesterday based on Monday's forecast of nice weather. It turned out to rain throughout the weekend and now the wind has picked up too. I live 30 minutes away from the track.

I'll believe the balmy weather when I see it..

Id definitely expect a different DF package as compared to Hungary, so probably some new wings.

I'll believe the balmy weather when I see it..

I’m roughly 4,000 miles from the track, relying on forecasts (which are way too early anyway) from your neck of the woods.

Although I did get lucky and nail the Hungary weekend forecast last week, I’m always grateful when we have someone that is close to the circuit that can give us even better forecast information.

Especially considering England has some of the most erratic, unpredictable weather on the face of the earth lol!

I'm about 10 miles from Silverstone, had rain pass over us, during a race, headed straight for the circuit. And it's never got there. Alternatively, watched a soaking wet session on the TV with the curtains drawn to keep out the blazing sunshine.
