I am a high school student brainstorming potential subjects for a Regeneron STS research project. Some background on the STS. High school students will typically work with a college professor or researcher and create original scientific research, often breakthroughs in their selected fields.
For example, in the 2019 competition, the finalists did such things as design a blended wing body aircraft, develop faster ways to manufacture influenza vaccines, and designing an aircraft winglet to eject high speed airflow from the undersides of wingtips to improve aircraft stability.
As a massive fan of motorsports and Formula One, I have decided to choose something in the field of motorsports as my topic. So here's my question: What are some upcoming Formula One technologies or F1-related things that I could feasibly research or develop?
