Brundle is talking how he likes the front end much better on the MCL35. Sharper turn in. Definitely looks that way on track

Is it the full package though? We got nose, floor, bargeboards. So what is missing? Are we waiting for a diffuser only or are there more?

It's the full package now. Too early to we're faster than the competition though.

Norris looks to be running with the old bargeboards. Hard to spot

Don't we need a new Diffuser also or are we having it also? Are you sure it's the full package?

Are we sure the upgrades brought this weekend are on?
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Seidl said it was in a pre-weekend interview. I'm sure there will be further development, but this is the package as they planned.

Both cars into Q3... Great result so far... Not too far from RIC in the Renault and Leclerc in front of us... Some magic from Norris could get us in the third row.

I don't think we have the full package yet. Paired with the nose we brought a floor and bargeboards but don't we need a diffuser also? Meanwhile we seem to be on par or at least much closer than last GP.

Each car only had 1 set of upgrades each. If they damaged them or felt they didn't get enough data then perhaps not.

It looks like the front wings are both the new ones. Bargeboard on NOR looks like the old one. Not sure about the floor on either car or SAI bargeboard config

I seriously don't understand how Daniel was 2 tenths quicker that lap.
When you look at the onboards, Lando just turns into the corner and the car responds smoothly, while onboard with Daniel you can see that he struggles to get that same turning on the Renault, yet he somehow is carrying way more speed into the corners. I don't know where that time is coming from to be honest.

Not necessarily. The new bits are there to feed the existing diffuser and improve the front end. As I said, expect further tweaks to refine it all.

All we need is perhaps find one or two more tenths to beat the talent of Ricciardo.

In any case even if we don't end up this year in front of Renault and RP we will next year with the new Mercedes Engine. That is if we keep evolving.

We lost most of it in the last sector... Daniel was 1 tenth faster than Carlos in S3
