RedBull is already the stronger car it seems. Without DAS Merc would have been behind for sure. Max should be able to apply pressure quite easily.
Mercedes are 1-2 and Redbull 3-5. Hamilton says he wants competition, let him get it.
The gap between Hamilton and Verstappen was less than a tenth, that's basically the margin for error. It's incredibly close between those two and it's a long race.
You are being selective why the slowest Merc vs the fastest RBR?

Because Bottas can have faster laps than Hamilton, but in the race it's typically Hamilton who has the stronger race pace. Bottas may just destroy everyone tomorrow, but history doesn't make such an outcome obvious.

Since when is it wrong to compare VER with HAM?

Its wrong because because the argument made was "RBR seems the faster car" not driver. The data he then uses is slowest lap from one car to fastest lap of the other.

If this is to be applied I could argue Ferrari is faster than RBR by taking the fastest Ferrari lap (Leclerc) and compare it to the slowest RBR lap which was (Albon)

I think this will become the norm for the rest of the season at the non-power sensitive circuits.

This is typically the part of the season where Merc beginning focusing on next year's car, and Red Bull start to close up. Per Albon, Red Bull brought a pretty significant upgrade to the car (an "under the skin") upgrade.

With the 10% downforce cuts for next year (which ban floor slots, reduce the width of the floor, and alter the height/length of the diffuser slats - just to mention a few of the *major* changes), the argument that the 2021 cars will be similar really doesn't carry as much weight.

Teams that want to claw back that downforce are going to have to make some substantial changes in other areas.

Wolff on Red Bull's performance today: "We expected it and have to accept that they will challenge us even more in the next races. We have to be vigilant. Our approach to development is to find the right balance between this season and 2021."

First off I didn't claim RBR seems the faster car, that was another user, and you falsely attributed that to me.

Next year the bargeboards and cape will be more important than ever, so getting on top of that is crucial.

Look at these sectors. And your chicane goldie. Bottas nailed it. Not sure what can be said about the cars here.

racing point have similar behaviour to mercedes?

Renault and Macca lower drag.

RedBull good at medium speed?

Bottas better braking than Ham. More DF perhaps or just better heat into his tyres?

I was giving you context to the discussion I was having with another user. I never said you claimed it. Notice I said
'the argument made was "RBR seems the faster car"' not you claimed

It was a good lap by Bottas, it seems he was carrying a tiny bit more wing than Hamilton.

Yes, but was he carrying more wing than Luca Corberi?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Verstappen 'complaining' that the car was understeering (he actually says it was nice for it to not oversteer).

Benson also makes the point that this could be a good race between the top 3. I'm looking forward to it.

Diarrhea is one of non respiratory manifestation of Covid 19
The upper respiratory swab wont show positive, but it would be present in the digestive system
