Verstappen 'complaining' that the car was understeering (he actually says it was nice for it to not oversteer).
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/54494558

Benson also makes the point that this could be a good race between the top 3. I'm looking forward to it.
From Mark Hughes' piece this morning (https://the-race.com/formula-1/mark-hug ... ll-be-won/):

"[The upgrade] worked so well that I’ve got understeer," said Verstappen. "If we’d had the Friday running we could probably have tuned that out."

This race is going to be all about tire management and stretching the Softs into the 20-lap range, and if the Red Bulls are unbalanced by understeer, that has the potential to contribute to cold graining on the fronts, which could force them into a 2-stop.

One stopper is by far the quickest strategy here.

And what a lap from Leclerc again! Amazing job.
Agreed. 5 tenths up on Vettel in Q2 was good work but then to get P4 was an excellent outcome although it wouldn't be surprising in a normal year. But this year they've been really up against it in the red car.

Ironically, one of the good things about having a bad car is you can make yourself look really good with a decent performance like today.

Charles can get a decent points haul tomorrow if he's careful. =D>
Agreed as well. Having a bad car can be a blessing at times - the ironics. :)

I'm looking forward to him getting a decent points haul. I'm generally looking towards a race which could be really exciting up front this time.

It's getting to the point where Leclerc's total domination over Vettel in quali is embarrassing.

7 positions and over half a second quicker in the same car is pretty tough to take.

And it's not like Vettel is an old man, either.

The car is tailored to Lecler's liking. Also, Vettel only got the upgrades for Qualy. He is not considered part of Ferrari for some time now, and that alone does not help.

It was a good lap by Bottas, it seems he was carrying a tiny bit more wing than Hamilton.
Yes, but was he carrying more wing than Luca Corberi?

Sorry, couldn't resist.
I’ve never seen anyone carrying more wing than Luca Corberi. But at least Bottas didn’t throw it all away.

Currently it's the same as yesterday but will probably be a bit more cloudy later. Rain is unlikely ~10%

I used to like Nico (Rosberg) but the more I see him on TV the less I feel that way. He does not come over as a nice guy

Current Vettel is a shadow of the Vettel of old. I mean the guy can drive, 4 wdc’s are testament to that. But he seems to lack total motivation. The fire is not there. You cannot imagine that this is the same as the guy racing Kubica in Melbourne 2009 - without a front wing.

And considering the situation he is in, I can understand it. It strange with Ferrari. The cars that won them trophies they glorify and put in musea, the drivers that did the same they put in the trash.

The only upgrades Vettel needs are not on the car but in his head. I sincerely hope racing point has these in stock.

But I would not count on Vettel to do anything more than running his laps in this race and the next.

Lance has diarrhea...
Diarrhea is one of non respiratory manifestation of Covid 19
The upper respiratory swab wont show positive, but it would be present in the digestive system
Very interesting and I'm glad Hulk was down the street to help. I hope people didn't come too much into contact with Lance and then next race the entire Racing Point team "sits" the next Grand Prix out too...
