This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Early reports indicate that the similator tests done by Sebastian Vettel have concluded that the new car isnt suited to his driving style. Apparently the rear of the car dances in cornering. Vettel has struggled with cars that arent tailored to the way he drives. We will get the full picture in the upcoming pre-season tests.

This would be the car that's effectively an updated W10, would it? That car was well known for being unstable. Renowned the world over for being rubbish in corners...
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

That recent James Allison video saying how the floor change would put the Mercedes last if they didn’t try and regain the downforce makes me wonder how this will affect a car that copied it but is also still trying to understand the design.
The CEO and Team Principal of Aston Martin Racing , Otmar Szafnauer has said that Its like having an engineer driving with the input from Vettel. This coming from the Italian media , Autosprint. They also mentioned that AMR will be using their tokens on the chassis .

Must be the Hair!
BTW, since the chassis is what is frozen, saying that you're gonna to use your tokens on thier chassis is like saying I'm gonna use my money to buy stuff!

That's been pretty obvious in all the years looking at Vettel's dedication for technical aspects and his understanding of that. I hope that's not going to be missed so much at Ferrari, but sadly I fear it will to some extent. At least for a certatin period of time.
It also means that he probably has an exponential value for bringing an engineers viewpoint to AMR from Ferrari/RBR. It seems that Seb probably has more technical understanding of the car's he's driven than most drivers, and that could push the development quickly if Stroll is willing to pay for iteration.
