Sorry, Reca, I guess I misunderstood what DaveKillens was talking about. As I undestand it now, he was reffering to the cut in the endplate, in the zone above the wing's flap, is this wright?

That’s how I read it, I think that while saying horizontal splitter he refers to the fin on the endplate right under the cut (I called it “vortex generator” in my previous post), he says that the air passing over it is drawn (I assume passing thru the cut) inside and then directed upward by the wing upwash.
I repeat, that’s the way I follow his thread, obviously I can be wrong, only DaveKillens can confirm it.
