So, hamilton spends half the race outside of track limits and all is fine. Max does it once, and penalized.

Bollocks
Lewis didn't do it much. I think I saw 1 replay of it. please show us all these examples

If the track wasn’t a parking lot, Max would have lost a wing trying to get by.

They need to enforce a pass back not a time penalty.
Absolutely! Fans are in it for the on-track battles not to watch drivers overtaking off the circuit and getting a few seconds penalty. I have always felt we were going down a slippery slope when the stewards stopped asking drivers to give back a position gained fraudulently.

Lewis himself said that he had be doing it regularly, so why stop now, when he was asked to remain in the limit by the team. Doesn't matter anyway, it was not being forced earlier, it was forced later. FIA at it again.

You seem to be confused. Hamilton didn’t pass outside the track. Oh and BTW Verstappen started doing it as well when it became apparent that they were letting it slide so your comment of ‘Max does it once’ is completely flawed anyway.
Hamilton was consistently wide at T4. That is just as much gaining an advantage. The stewards dont seem to get that still - gaining an advantage is not something that only happens during overtakes.

Of course max started doing it when it was obvious stewards were not acting, but that situation should not have occurred in the first place.
So you admit your comment of ‘Max does it once’ was wrong then?

Both were abusing T4 yet only 1 of them passed off the track. That was Verstappen.
Are you familiar with the concept of a hyperbole? Of course max did it more than literally once. Point is, lewis did it earlier and more consistently. They should never have dragged it past that points.

And regarding the passing of track, well, thats my point, isnt it? An advantage is an advantage. Whether you gain 0.1 a lap ten laps straight by going wide, or only go wide once to overtake, both provide an advantage. Yet, only one is penalized. And thats a major problem.

The cars aren’t very, very close mate. The Red Bull is clearly faster. Nice try (again) though.
Opening stint proves me right. They are very close.
Nope, Max was saying he was managing his pace in first stint

But why did RBR let Lewis undercut them?
Thats when the race changed; they should have pitted first and protected their track position and none of this would have happened
And Lewis was going all out? They were all managing their tyres. When they had same compound of tyre, same fuel loads they were equal.

Give us a break with your Hamilton is driving a dog and Max a rocket narrative.

Strongly disagree. It is up to the second driver to copy the lead driver's data traces. Same for Vettel at Ferrari, same for Verstappen senior at Benetton et al.
I would generally agree but it’s now 3 drivers. 1 who was quick then suddenly wasn't and then when put in another car is smashing it, 1 who looked quick and then suddenly didn’t and 1 with bags of experience. Surely as some point you have to ask why?
Some people just can't own up to the obvious fact that Red Bull 100% designs the car towards Max's preferences.
Which isn’t a problem as long as you then don’t bitch that your team mate isn’t in the fight.

Please, stop defending Hamilton as if he is some angel. When he was told to stop he asked "why I've been doing it all race."

That was a majestic drive from Hamilton. Held off Verstappen in a superior red bull.
I saw this fight coming. If Lewis can hold off Rosberg on faster and fresher tyres he can manhandle Verstappen.
It's one thing to be a fast driver and have a car fast enough to win the championship.
But it's another thing when Hamilton sets his sights on fighting toe to toe against you for 23 grand prix. A championship fight is a differenr ball game. Max is very new to this. He has never experienced fighting head to head for a championship, worst agains Hamilton who is arguably the greatest deffensive drive the sport has seen.
I was not surprised he held of Max. Just a rinse and repeat of the "duel on the desert" against Nico.
Max is going to need as much psychological help this year..
He was already shaken up and seemed to crying in the interview with Button.
Will be a looong season for redbull with their superior car.
For Sure!!

Hamilton driver of the day, no question. Verstappen will get them in Imola. Perez looked good.
Goodness, the state of F1 is one that people claim that, a driver that spent half the race off the track, to be the best of the GP :?
