Yes they do. Plenty of things on an F1 car work in the same way they would on a road car.

I did not say that F1 cars don't work the same way. Of course, they run an internal combustion engine, have a four wheels, a steering wheel, and so on and so forth. What they use to run is nothing like road cars (although if you put an F1 engine into a road car, I'd like to see that)

It would be nice to see, but we can't from this photo. I doubt he's wearing crocs though.
So, my theory that he's got basketballs is better.

Hence it wouldn't be too far fetched for someone to think an F1 car uses fans for cooling.

Regardless this is getting a little off topic, has Ferrari released any details as to why Massa was in the pits for almost the entire morning?

Or it's a Williams and it doesn't have Battery-stored KERS?

(either that, or I just missed the joke by miles)

No joke. I genuinely thought he'd get shocked, without thinking about what you just mentioned.

Well, at least Lewis seems to have a better grip of the car than Heikki (upgrades notwithstanding). Perhaps because he tends to like the rear end to be a bit slippery? In fact, have McLaren gone a bit too far in trying to provide what he wants?

I'd really like to compare times over runs, rather than rely on the "toptimes" provided by F1Today.nl and directo.thef1.es et al. Is there a place you can get hold of these online? Or has everyone who has posted a series of times actually been at the test?

he's only dont 90 laps there though, f1today.nl clocks him at 93, and i've always found that one to be quicker at updating.
