UK authorities are running a number of control trials to research crowd transmission.

For instance this week they have allowed audiences at the world championship snooker in Sheffield. They started at about 25% capacity and the final is 100%. Each audience member is having 3 tests: the day before the event (lateral flow), on the day and 5 days later (PCR).

There have been other events tested across the world. I would expect that we should soon have a scientists’ eye view of the risk that crowded events pose.

The results will be absolutely fascinating. Let’s hope they are positive. (Good positive, not Covid positive, obviously.)

Monaco to allow 7500 spectators in grandstands.

What about the Yachts? They can be full?

I guess they're counted as a single group / bubble. I would guess there won't be the yacht parties that are the norm.

Let's go to Suzuka a week early and do that GP twice.

Would be nice to see Fuji Speedway or Okayama Circuit host a separate Japanese F1 GP, though I wouldn't mind Malaysia too (rather unlikely).

I could see there being two Silverstones GPs.

Silvertone will have no fans unless the UK Government makes it a test event as the COVID restrictions that would allow fans to present don't come into force until the 19th of July.

I doubt Silverstone will be anywhere near capacity without fans coming from overseas. It would be a good year to push the advertising at home, if they are on the ball

According to Silverstone's website, tickets are almost sold out. General admission tickets for Sunday are totally sold out. It's going to be as full as ever. It'll be full of Brits and very few people from overseas. Just about anyone coming to the UK has to quarantine in an approved hotel at a cost of about €/$ 2000. That's going to put people off straight away.

Ah, that's good news. I thought it would be a bit flat
