You didn't miss much. Boring race after the usual first lap trip ups.
Next weekend there will be no MotoGP but I don´t know if I´ll watch another Austrian GP, then. I guess people better hope for some heavy rain.....

Just hope next year´s regulation turns so good(brings close racing) that they are forced to get rid of DRS
No rain for next sunday as of now, could change later

He said twice about loosing on the straights. I am not complaining, they can say whatever the like, just pointing it out to you.
So what? arent the drivers needing to state the obvious? Jeez people need to get a grip on it and stop trolling
Like I said, I am not complaining, just pointing out the obvious to you. Take your bitterness somewhere else please.

For a team who have won so much, Mercedes have got to be the worst sports. Whenever they lose they try to throw mud at the other team and what they have on the car. They always make themselves out to be underdogs fighting against the odds, despite having had a huge advantage for so long.

It would be nice to hear them just say “well done to the other team, they’re doing the better job, fair play”.

Good on Hamilton.
Now tell Toto to stop whining.

Lewis going with the ‘engine upgrade narrative’ again. Sore. Whining about straight line speed while he himself had a dominant car for 7 years 😅🤣

Don't contradict the narrative.
Death, taxes, and trolling/whining about Merc whether they win or lose. Tradition for this forum lol.

I think it was only dull at the very front. Plenty going on a little further back.

But even at the front, it might not have been interesting or close, but it was very significant for that very reason.

Tyre deg was really the only thing keeping things close in races prior to this, but it seems RBR have now cured their ills.

I still feel like Mercedes is at least equally fast as Red Bull. It's just Verstappen who is making the RB16B look like so dominant. Verstappen was only 2 tenths slower on the 30+ old Hard tyres than Perez on the fresh medium tyres.

And both RBs were lapping 1s faster than the Mercs near the end of the race.

Come on, because Perez had a tyre advantage.

Great win for Verstappen. Mercedes did what they had to do lacking the pace to win - they timed the fastest lap opportunity well, Bottas did his job overtaking Perez. Too bad Perez couldn't make it in the end, seems they brought him in just a bit too late - but fair try. Gutted for Russell. Leclerc drove well, but his race was tarnished by the elimination of Gasly.
Overall, boring race, but well, each season will have a few. It was not the worst boring race in recent years, at least.

Not the most exciting race but Ferrari delivered a bit of entertainment! Happy for Perez as well, he could be helping RB to decent victory in the constructors, defo earning his seat.
Leclerc was awesome, the car was actually not so slow on the straights like it was in quali almost 3 tenths down on McLaren in Quali in the first sector. Sainz was also great very nice drives from both, went long ad hen had fresher tyres to the end.

Race pace is meaningless if Merc doesn’t have track position (worse over 1 lap), subpar pit stops or strategy. Besides, we’re talking at best a tenth or so difference - this is a rounding error in terms of delta required to pass in these regs.
Seen Spain, Portimao and France races?
Ready to review your stance? RB was better on all fronts today.
Today they were. Lets hope it also continues for 7 years with Max 😜
