This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Looking forward to the press conference today for the team prncipals. Toto and Horner in together apparently. I hope they get asked some questions that make it awkward.
I'd rather they weren't asked leading questions that are just trying to make headlines for a click-bait website.

I just want to see if Horner has the balls to say something direct to Toto instead of a tweet or to a journo when Toto isn't around.

New found love for GT racing with Assetto Corsa Competizione on PS5 & PC
Pleasantly surprised at Merc's pace so far this race weekend. They seem to be at least on par with RB over 1 lap or race sims.
A shame that conditions will be cooler on Saturday and Sunday.
Cooler has been historically better for Merc so not any shame at all.
I know that - I mean we saw it first hand last GP.
That said, Merc genuinely had the upper hand on RB today. Lower temps could throw everybody’s setups out the window and given Merc’s narrower setup window...

Is it real?? Or does the gpblog a reliable source? ,,Our data says the Silver Arrows have the edge in the slow and high speed corners with a comfortable speed advantage on the straights over Red Bull – with their rivals only quicker in the medium speed turns." Mercedes quicker in the slow corners? I cant believe that with this year car. What do you think? Here is the article. https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/90410/me ... conds.html
Only the mercs starting on the medium for tomorrow. That will make things interesting between Lewis and Max for sure
I wonder if that is out of necessity or choice by Red Bull?
Did they think Max needed to improve after he had already left on softs?
Or is it all about the start tomorrow?
It may even be wets
Current forecast for tomorrow is 93 F and sunny. Man, those Softs are barely holding on for a few laps, pace-wise. I don’t know how teams are going to stretch them on heavy fuel in those temps.
