So is Ferrari already on the new engines this friday? Or are they saving them for tommorow?

They used it in P2. You can clearly see the improvement in top speed.

If I remember correctly they used it on FP1 too, but with a bit toned down setting until they were sure that everything works as it should.

Is it new the shape of the secondary air intake (the one behind the driver's head)?

Follow up from Arrivabene - http://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/130 ... arrivabene; He thinks the positions do not reflect the real gains.

Is it possible for Ferrari release new updates for let say Sauber only? I mean not the current updated engine, but next set of updates to test them.

Hardly needed. They know what they have, and they can test them safely with their workhorse at Fiorano.

Well say this to Vettel :) $10 part cost him Q2/Q3. I was wondering about this due to the penalties ...

Ferrari SF15-T - high-speed front wing

In Montreal Ferrari introduced a new front wing for high-speed venues like the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The main difference is smaller flaps, but also note the shape and position of the vertical fins mounted on the upper flap; they are more curved compared to the model used in the previous races (inset drawing). The purpose is to better channel the air at high speed away from the front wheels.
