surprised by how good the car was in hot conditions

very nice victory for George and grande Kimi !
What a great surprise… let’s not celebrate so early but interesting the new rear suspension worked very well today (but not in Italy  a little weird IMO)

Why are you so negative for once ?

Don’t you think that the max downforce setting (compared to Max and McLaren) chosen/made by GR and Mercedes won’t work for the race?
it's best to keep expectations low, so I'm expecting the unexpected to keep my heart alive.
It worked for today … I am so glade you were wrong man! lol

I have been reading your comments since last year but I must admit now 🤣
Always assume and prepare the worst that's my pet peeve

What a glorious day! Positively surprised by how strong the race pace was, especially with such a hot track out there. George drove a faultless race, and Kimi… what a talent this kid is. Hoping Austria will validate these race pace improvements.

Russell is being summoned by the Stewards. Red Bull lodged a protest against 63 for erratic driving. Let’s see what happens. https://x.com/fia/status/1934364784197026017?s=46

100% thrown out and deposit lost. Throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks.

How large is the deposit? Frivolous appeals should lead to a deduction of points in the constructors as well as a big fine

After seeing the replay of that incident I can safely say that Russell did nothing wrong there. He was very close to that safety car and had to maintain the distance. On the contrary Max is a 4 times world champion and should have kept some distance. I think the correct decision is time penalty for Max and 1 penalty point since the rules are clear. You cannot pass under an SC.

Either way if both are penalized then Antonelli wins the race

Ah ah ah love your opinion but penalty for Max is a little rough no?

GR did apply some strong pressure on the brakes which caused Max to pass him.

That’s would be pure drama but a little unfair for the great race GR and Max did I think

Canada not massively hot this weekend, car went well here last year - chance of a good result for Merc?
Guess they did have a chance!

Bravo George and Kimi, very well executed Sunday!

Both were rejected. GR keeps P1: https://x.com/mercedesf1_hub/status/193 ... 45905?s=46
The amount of Max fans that were rag dogging George on Social Media until this confirmation, basically confirms that Toto wants nothing to do with Verstappen because he brings way too much baggage for Mercedes to handle.
