Ferrari or Mclaren will start with the strongest car & the other will be 2nd fastest of very close.
That's a bold statement. McLaren & Ferrari need a huge development leap to close the gap to RB, let alone have any dominance (or RB will need to get something badly wrong).
Ferrari dont really need to close any gap, they were the strongest car last season without EBD as Silverstone showed & the strongest car in the 2nd half of 2010 when they were winning in such diverse circuits like Monza & Singapore.
Anyways with new low noses & a new exhaust system I think RBR has to make a change. Frankly the cars have just been evolutions. Ferrari-Mclaren have been beaten easily 2 years in a ROW & will go absolutely all out.
Also Ferrari got the tyres dead right with the least degrading tyres among the TOP teams. Then Pirelli changed the rubber, made it more harder & less degrading,The HARD BECAME SUPER DUPER HARD,MEDIUM became like a HARD COMPOUND & SOFT like the MEDIUM & SUPERSOFT LIKE SOFT. As a result Ferrari struggles to get heat into their tyres having experiences more degraing & softer rubbers during testing.
