McLaren were experimenting with downforce levels and others probably were messing around with the setups too; so that could show sector 1 from a low downforce run and sector 2 from a high downforce run
Hm? No the sector times displayed in the official live timing are from the fastest lap.

Must not be for Practice sessions, because just doing a quick comparons of the sectors and laptimes of Mark and Vettel shows a difference in the calculated difference using the sectors and the actual difference listen in their lap times.

Here are their times again:

Webber: 32.4 48.1 29.4 - 1:50.321
Vettel: 32.0 49.6 29.3 - 1:51.790

From the sector times, it shows Vettel up 4 tenths in S1, down 1.5s in S2, and then up 1 tenth in S3 for roughly a 1 second net gap in laptime to Mark. Though their fastest laps show a difference of almost 1.5 seconds.

We don´t have more ...but obviously Vettel was quick in the speedtrap .So either he got a big tow combined with a long gearing or they tried something and it did not really work (judging by the times it was not fixable in the session and so Vettel was further down the order)

Looks like another weekend that Seb will end up "borrowing" Mark's setup before qually!

Nice! I'm not a Schumi fan but that looks great!

(I do appreciate his driving talents tho, just not a fan of some of his methods)

Actually I don't see anything wrong with Seb's car. He was running slightly less downforce which explains 4 tenths in sector 1. He didn't hook a complete lap together on the slicks either. If you add all of his best "slick tyre" sectors together from the same run, he would be 1:51.028 (for reference, Mark's would be 1:50.145 - 8 tenths above).

Also, Sebastian didn't run the option tyres - I would consider 8 tenths off option vs prime for the longest lap on the calendar would be quite good.
