Kerbs and corners seem to be catching everyone out.

Vet and Ros with penalty, Ham with tire issues.
Is this Kimi's opportunity to drink some champagne?

Looks like rear left suspension failure....

That element's vibration was increasing a little bit just prior to the buckle. There didn't appear to be any excessive load at that time, although obviously we don't know what the actual load was there. Could it be an older element close to its life limit or some manufacturing fault?

Whatever, we'll know eventually.
High cyclical stress and resonance frequency caused it to buckle probably. I think the resonance frequency could have played the biggest role though.
That was my third thought after "ooops silly boy" and "damn baguette kerbs".
Could it be because of the new tyre regs, changing the dynamics just enough to lead to that sort of failure, possibly in conjunction with part age?

Looks like the Fia putting a stop to tire pressure trickery via heated axles and rims has gotten its first victim... not the suspension failure but looks like Mercedes is back to chewing up tires

Torro Rosso's car just dismantled itself. What did I miss?

So we have two suspension failures, probably both caused by running over the kerbs. I think they have now an effective way to keep drivers within the track boundaries.

looks like they accidentally invented a way to force them to stay with in the track limits
