Sorry to bring this back from the dead but Hamilton has gotten another weapon at his disposal now. Adjustable rear wing (ARW).

He is also the most experienced user of the KERS will he be impossible to defend against?

Well now when we can guess Hamiltons problems are solved I would guess he is going to shred the field apart. I want to see the Hamilton from 2008 again where he made the whole field look like a bunch of rookies. In that year he dominated Monaco(that was simply crazy and his best performance ever, being over one second a lap quicker than anyone), Great Brittain(In the wet he was the only one being nearly perfect and only made one small mistake, cutting the chicane), Germany he dominated too, after a pit stop went wrong he closed the gap to Massa and Piquet in no time and overtaking them was even easier for him.

I just hope to see such performances return, last year he was incredible at Spa but that was his only real great performance, just hope to see more of him which we couldnt see last year.

what makes him the most expirienced user of KERS?
what about Kovalainen, Alonso & Massa?
the ARW will be available to everybody - No?
if you can make use of the ARW, it means you are not leading at the moment.
Does this mean he wont qualify on pole much?

I think McLaren was the only one who put KERS on at all races. Or at least the most races. Renault took it off. BMW took it off. Ferrari had theirs off sometimes. But I believe we can agree that Hamilton is a better overtaker than Massa.

Heikki realistically doesn't count, does he? As has been said Renault didn't run KERS for a full season, same for BMW, so that's Alonso and Bob.
Kimi is off smashing up cars in the forest, and Massa got boinked on the head with a spring in 09, so missed half a season.

So yes, as a statement of fact, of the title contenders, Hamilton has the most experience with KERS.

Maybe, maybe not - it´s not up to me to make that call.
I was just suprised to learn, that Hamilton would be the "most expirienced KERS user" as we had two McLarens with KERS-no?
All in good fun and spirit.
Don´t want to take anything away from your boy.

@ feynman
yours is a slightly different statement, which is closer to reality

That one was from another world and incredibly lucky, that was more of an kamikaze attack than a real overtake, but it still looks incredibly cool.

It's not a real overtake?
What counts as an overtake these days?
The intention was to overtake while keeping the car under control, and it worked.

Funny i don't remember this one, i think i missed this race.
For Sure!!

I'm no Hamilton fanboy though I am a McLaren fan. To be fair, any overtaking Kovalainen does in 2011 is unlikely to have major impacts on the championship battle
