A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I hope they manage a better setup and win back some ground. I didn't expect them to be on the podium this race... but right now i'm wondering if they'll be in the top 6...

A track with certain features that could be absolutes might not be completely beneficial. Track material, various turns camber angles at various tracks, temperatures, humidity all play into the equation wherever they are, and to create a test track that could mimic all of that would be impossible.

Might perhaps possibly just a little bit have a rear tyre wear issue

how? on mercedes rear suspension broked, which made tire a bend a little, not whole tire surface touched a asphalt, and and tore off surface of tire during driving on wrong angle.

The wires would be the 3rd layer from top to bottom if I'm not mistaken.

On RTL Niky Lauda said it was the same problem like Rosberg has had in China with a broken left anti-roll bar.
Some speculate that the main reason is the higher rake that they were running coz Lauda said it's not a new piece design for this year ...
