On the red-white kerbs the tires seem to oscillate with very high amplitudes that harm the suspensions. Do the high tire pressures have anything to do with that? I mean, we have already had Formula 3, DTM and several other series running on the new tarmac and kerbs without suspension problems if I recall correctly.

Kerbs are killing the suspensions, and the cars are just not designed to take it.

the right side was probably damaged in a previous corner, afaiu the red and white curbs are standard for all tracks.

He was lucky he didn't take the end of that railing side ways right at the cockpit area that could have been ugly

The question is what exactly is killing the suspension. To me it looks more like a fatigue problem caused by high amplitudes of oscillation of the tire. Whether the kerbs are too high or the frequency of the oscillation is harmful for the suspensions I don't know. What I can imagine indeed is that the damping characteristics of the tires are decreased by the high tire pressures, meaning that the suspensions take more load than usual...

When they realize that they put them on but it was too late coz the rain just have started ...

AWESOME JOB FROM LEWIS AND HULK!! Jenson could start from P2 if Hulkenberg gets a penalty for domething that supposedly happened in Q2.
