I'd support revoking Maldonado's superlicense for that ... people were up in arms over Schumi squeezing Barry against the pit wall, but this was WELL beyond Schumi's indiscretion : at leat that was during an active session.

Nah, they'll do a 2 - 3 lap run to bring the temperatures up, and there's a clear dry line.

Please don't. There can be no question that Hamilton has done absolutely nothing wrong. Maldonado was trying to back off from the pack and get a clean lap in which obstructed Lewis's lap. Lewis went for an overtake and made it past, with Pastor turning in to him on the apex despite Hamilton already being ahead.

Then on the run down to Eau Rouge Maldonado so clearly ran across the bows of the McLaren miles off line. Totally deliberate.
watch the replay hamilton hit his side pod when we turned in.

you mean when Hamilton turned into him. take off your silver glasses

nice run by perez to make it to q3[/quote]

MAL didnt back off, there was no time left for another run, it was KOV who blocked BAR who blocked MAl and then HAm pushed all the way through...
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Hamilton moved into a gap : Maldonado tried closing the door on him ... that was a perfectly acceptable move, in both my eyes and those of the FIA.

We're not talking about that move. After that lap was complete and on the run down to Eau Rouge Maldonado then decided to chop across the nose of Hamilton on the opposite side of the track from the racing line, damaging both cars.

i cant believe people are actually blaming hamilton? maldonado pulled up right next to him forcing lewis to move, then as he drove pat he just swiped him. the incident at the end of their flying laps was just racing due to kova and rubens fightin with each other.

We're talking about both moves ... Check the preceding post mate : Kov and Bar weren't involved in the sideswipe, but they were involved in the incident beforehand.

if you look at a race thread from a few weeks ago the same people defending hamilton now are the same ones that thought button should move out of the way to let him through. Its just fun to get them all worked up. In reality both can be blamed here Maldo pushed hammy wide hammy turned down into him give them both a slap on the wrist and move on.

This comment was about before the flag ... this is getting confusing ;)

I guess that is the problem with "revenge" moves ;)

Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.
