Nope. It is all in the tyres. Mercedes smoother into corners and on the power earlier according Johnny Herbert. Ferrari much more powerful in second acceleration phase so they still will be a big threat at the start and we know that this track is hard to overtake on so it is not over by a long shot.Restomaniac wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 14:32Have Mercedes figured out the Ferrari battery software cheat alongside aero improvements?

Almost a half second off Mercedes pace, and that only gets worse as the laps stack up. My hypothesis is if Ferrari cant stay out, their problem may not be Mercedes, but the midfielders who trail in their tow. KMag had a OK Quali session, and if Red Bull can work their way up to Ferarri, it may put them into a danger zone.Vasconia wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 15:12He was overdriving so he has gone wide. Ferrari has problems. Since SPA they have progressively lost performance and underperforming in tracks where they were theoretically faster.
Hamilton on the dirty side, right ?
