What are the prediction of Vettel starting on mediums and then ending on supersofts and Webber going vice versa .

Given the fact that the difference btw these tyres is almost a second and Merc's are usually careful controlling their pace in opening stint I expect Vettel to go on mediums (PPO) and Webber (OPP).

Thanks for the link. It looks like it is going to be bro dry, which should be good news for Kimi, and Alonso!
It should help everyone, for Kimi though it depends how hot it is not just how dry, if its quite cool then it might be problems for them and better for Mercedes for example. If its hot it will help Lotus a lot.

Fantastic link btw

Foggy cloudy gloomy, far too much to drink last night, #-o so it may be a dry race for me,
what can you do, F1 qualifying, strippers, double overtime in the NHL Playoffs, it's the perfect storm.
as for the weather it's nice outside, I can see my shadow, looks to be a good day.
I have no clue who is going to win this race, it was to hard to tell yesterday, I'll go with Hamilton for now,
I'll change my mind after the first corner crash :D

I almost forgot I thought I heard something about them taking that curb out at the last chicane
anyone know if they are ? It looked like some of the guys to a real good hit to the backside

At its core, this is a tech forum. We care if the W04 is still faster in quali, because we're trying to gauge the development race and quali is when we get to see the machines driven flat out, as opposed to the different elements we learn from the actual race.
Well said. Avoided the flame bait and trolling nicely.

All true, but judging from the link I copied (and it is not written in stone) the weather conditions combined with a green track surface should bro favor lotus, and Ferrari.

yes! sunshine! Lewis seems to think he can handle Vettel. this could be another COTA. Valtieri did a good job but he needs to stay out of the way. Hopefully he doesn't try to drive above his head like Hulkenberg at Brasil last year.

The weather radar seems to indicate that it will stay dry and relatively cold. So that will not be too bad for Red Bull. Under such conditions they should be able to do a fair bit of performance generation from the tyres. Ferrari are the dark horse to me. They have not improved the one lap speed but they did not need to do that for Montreal. Passing is easy there when you have a performance advantage in hand. So it will be interesting how that shakes out between Vettel and Alonso. Under normal circumstances one of the two should win the race. Alonso has a greater risk of getting involved in a fist corner pile up or collision. He needs to be very careful at the start. It is much more important to save the car through the first lap than making positions in Montreal.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

It looks like nice weather. Hope its starts dry and ends wet. Always like those kind of races very exciting expecially in Canada.

Doubt it. Starting on primes only guarantees you're not leading after the first pitstops.
