This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
BTW why on earth David Croft fueled the rumours live on Sky about Alonso going back to Alpine….
The only times Alonso says anything against the team is when he feels hes not being backed and he has said some odd things in the first part of this season which immediately caught my attention. And there are a lot of rumors floating around AM courting Max and also some weird Russell rumors. So it might not be completely baseless. A lot of things are talked about in the paddock that never materialize.
I liked the race; it had a bit of everything. First, temperatures rose, and tire predictions went to hell. This added intrigue.
For our part, things seem to be going well, thank goodness. I'm concerned that ALO had HAM's slipstream, which allowed him to travel within the small group of good cars and pull away from the rest early on (when the top eight broke away). That makes me slightly doubt the car's performance, especially given Lance's race. Although this also has its positive counterpart: the MBs won with high temperatures.
Let's hope the improvement continues, and then the top-secret Amen Plan (aka "Alonso forced to fulfill his fate") will begin its glorious journey.
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

Most of the British media have never liked Alonso.
The real funny thing is Alpine might not be Alpine next year with De Meo leaving Renault.
Briatore is there so if Alonso fancy to race few years more just for fun wouldn't be surprise Briatore will welcome him as manager of his to Alpine. But for sure Alonso main aim would be race in 2026 for AM now that Newey is on the team. That's why Croft is a logical speculation if Alonso is out of AM because Father can't suck his son and Verstapen is singing for the team. I doubt Russell would be thinking to change teams specially when the engine would have more importance next year and we know Mercedes what is capable of doing on that area.

Pedro de la Rosa said that Alonso's parents went to Canada and they were with Flavio who is his manager still. So everytime he was seen at Alpine he was just visiting his parents.

there were always gonna be rumors when newey came. alonso talks a lot when his team isnt living up to expectations. most of the time its right after he got out of the car. nothing alonso says can ever be taken as "im going to leave a contract the year before newey starts building cars for me" though. i think we can all agree on that. it would be such a bad look for aston to boot alonso the year that happens too, while keeping lance. max isnt going to force his way into aston to do that. i think hes got more respect than that, and its completely unnecessary. its not promised that its gonna be the best place to go for max to win wdc's quickly. russell is a wild card, but only if max goes to mercedes. i expect max will stay at redbull for 26 and have a clearer view of things when the fog clears in 27
Not sure why they didn't pit as soon as they were about to lose position to Hamilton. They waited really long and lost a lot of time, which then dropped them behind all cars that started on hards. If they didn't do that Alonso would have been lot closer to Ham and might even challenged him.

Ferrari pace was superior to Aston. So extending the stint with mediums was the right decision as the hards had higher deg than expected.
