LEC's head is on fire in the media pen. He said he barely touched the brakes, and the rear brakes didn't work whatsoever (they confirmed it in the data according to him).

Barcelona should have a remedy

With what we are seeing today, there is zero chance that Ferrari has the best chassis.
I think it might have been before Mercedes' upgrade, but it certainly doesn't look that way anymore. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until next week. Monaco is a bit peculiar.
This is Ferrari's best track and Merc's "struggle" track. Merc will be another world in Barcelona
Antonelli's pace is alarming. I thought Hamilton would have been able to keep up but not even close... :wtf:

Indeed...
Of course one-off engine mapping maybe affected Ferrari more.
But the gap was huge...
The worst is that the team has not maximized the points today.
It seems that Merc is in one driver points collecting mode...

The quicker driver (imo) this weekend had brakes that didn't work and Mercedes in Canada confirmed they have the best overall car. Once they suited out the balance this weekend they were flying.

There must be a reason why he isn't using Lewis's system already, would it affect how he can set up the car? We know that Charles likes a lot of front on it and can deal with the rear being lose.

He said going into Monaco, he wanted to use something he knew. Also mentioned that he might not be as quick in Spain but he needs consistency now

Honestly, I don't think even a miracle from an ADUO will make Ferrari better than Mercedes. Closing the gap is a possibility, but Mercedes is in a different league, and today it was proven their advantage isn't just the engine.

Leclerc said himself that they had found the solution for the brakes BUT HE DIDN'T want to use it in Monaco. Its completely on him what happened.

the quicker driver finished in P2 and the other one crashed unrelated to brakes and is looking on what to blame

It's not a "Solution". It's just using what Hamilton has. He didnt' want it for Monaco because he probably think it makes him slower on his best track. If he is going to be on Hamilton's setup going forwards...

Well, I mean, their advantage is Kimi no? George was not winning it at at any time today.
