And it looks like by this , a extra slot is available for another GP

Despite long-running rumours of a race-share deal with Belgian Grand Prix venue Spa-Francorchamps, there has been no firm decision about which venue will take the slot in France's 'off' years.

Bernie said they agreed to the offyear spot but we can´t put to much trust in his words.

I don´t think anyone chooses to :)
And i would argue that Suzuka is the best track on the calendar.

Entertainment wise none of them really get´s close to China for example which has consistently produced exciting racing.
I think most of us would agree that the Chinese GP was one of the best races we have seen in a long time.

No but seriously, if Bernie tells SPA that "ok you can get a lower fee"

Imagine what the rest of the tracks would do, same deal so Bernie can´t lower the fee for SPA because it would have quite large consequences.

Guys its all fun to whine about it but,
Where does "BERNIE" actually say that it will alternate with SPA????
He only confirms France will be back
rest everything are assumptions from the site admin :?

Sky Sports interview.

He said SPA have said yes but nothing is written on paper yet.

The only thing that wasn´t sure was where the French GP should be.
Right now it looks like Paul Richard but they need stands for the people.

However there´s a voting coming up in France which could move it to Magny Cours due to a certain political party having close ties with the track.

the original plan was for Spa but given the backslash it's possible they are now looking at other venues

don't we have this thread already? And as far as I know Turkey is out already....

Keep Spa! And give us Magny-Cours.

Give us 25 races Bernie!
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

If he has said it would have been published in all these sites, I would rather believe legit sites than someone in a forum

If they are going to run at Paul Ricard, they better have the decency of using the layout with the Mistral Straight going into Signes. Something as close to the layout they used at the French GP at Paul Ricard in the 1980s.

I'm sick of these jokes that pass for straights on half the tracks now.

Ok i give up. The person i saw wasn´t Bernie. It was Santa Claus on vacation in Bahrain.
Just giving random interviews on Formula 1 which he has no affiliation with.
