If you think Uncle Ron paid Alonso £millions just so that he could have Hamilton beat him then you have truely swallowed the anti-McLaren hype.andrew wrote:[As for the thing with Alonso, if you honestly think a rookie beat a driver as good as Alonso in equal machinery, then you have truly swallowed the McLaren hype. Uncle Ron has succeeded!
The funny thing about Hamilton is that he admits when he's wrong and is quite open about it. He gets arsey when he thinks the team have done something stupid e.g. called him to pit at a silly time. When he's doing well he's always outspoken in his praise for the team (sometimes that gets too much TBH).andrew wrote: but the thing that annoys me the most about Hamilton is that he is just so damn big headed and behaves like a petulant child whenever things do not go his way. For these reasons, I will never be a fan of his as I cannot stand people like this.
It will be interesting to see how many 'little notes' will be coming from you before your hatred reappears.andrew wrote:So the "not" and the"e" have done a runner together? I expect lots of little notes on this thread then.![]()

Seems to me that he's got it about right - lots of drivers never admit they're wrong even when the world and his dog knows it...
If you read your own posts I wouldn't need.andrew wrote:

So long as he also publically says "well done" when the team do well then I don't see a problem. If he's all "they cocked up" and then "I did well" then I'd say slap him down. But he's not. He says "I messed up", "they messed up", "we did well".andrew wrote:Taking your own mistake on the chip is the only thing to do but publicly getting arsey at the team is very unprofessional. Sure comment on something the team have done, but it is only fair to do this once it has been discussed in-house, rather than airing the dirty underpants in the public domain.
It's fair enough to say that the team made a mistake once the mistake has been discussed with the team. To come straight out with it immediately after the race is not fair on the team.Just_a_fan wrote:So long as he also publically says "well done" when the team do well then I don't see a problem.
