So the "not" and the"e" have done a runner together? I expect lots of little notes on this thread then. Image

If you think Uncle Ron paid Alonso £millions just so that he could have Hamilton beat him then you have truely swallowed the anti-McLaren hype.

It's a typo, they happen let's not jump all over the guy.

One reason I like the mac os is the built in dictionary. I hate seeing those red underlines. Some words I always forget how to spell, I just slap down a close approximation and wham, I get the suggestion.

For me it's necessary, so I can spell words like necessary. I am digressing OT. Its very easy in a thread that is already there.

Fun that was, but let's wind this back a bit and discuss the topic at hand, or we'll go ahead and give it the ole lock down.

The funny thing about Hamilton is that he admits when he's wrong and is quite open about it. He gets arsey when he thinks the team have done something stupid e.g. called him to pit at a silly time. When he's doing well he's always outspoken in his praise for the team (sometimes that gets too much TBH).

Seems to me that he's got it about right - lots of drivers never admit they're wrong even when the world and his dog knows it...

It will be interesting to see how many 'little notes' will be coming from you before your hatred reappears.

Makes him look more stupid when he admits his mistakes and sound like an air head.

Taking your own mistake on the chip is the only thing to do but publicly getting arsey at the team is very unprofessional. Sure comment on something the team have done, but it is only fair to do this once it has been discussed in-house, rather than airing the dirty underpants in the public domain.

Why does admitting his mistakes make him an air head?

Jeez, the guy can't win. He's considered arrogant when he wins, sulky when his team cocks up and an air head when he stands up like a man and admits his errors.

So long as he also publically says "well done" when the team do well then I don't see a problem. If he's all "they cocked up" and then "I did well" then I'd say slap him down. But he's not. He says "I messed up", "they messed up", "we did well".

It's fair enough to say that the team made a mistake once the mistake has been discussed with the team. To come straight out with it immediately after the race is not fair on the team.

There are plenty drivers who remain non-commital in post race interviews who simply say "we'll have to look at what went wrong" or something like that.
