RTL commenting that it was a bit disrespectful for Lewis to spin his cap around his finger during the German national anthem as far as I can tell

Yep, Rosberg in trouble with stewards because of 2 problems...causing collusion and continuing with broken wing.

Also, those spectators are SOUR losers.

100% deserved? Nico had the edge over him till the last 5 laps.
Too bad that the result when you cross the finishline is the one that counts
Don't be childish, noone stated the opposite.

Hamilton lost more given how long they kept him put on the first stint.

Ps: i think Rosberg will have the team on his side. Unfortunately.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

You guys should all apply for Chief of Tyre Management, even Manor (GJ Wehrlein!) won't accept your applications..Soft was the better one, at least on Hamilton

Possibly, he had a lot of brake dust coming out during the race!

His team mate had the outside of the corner which was the better line.
The clue was the great big silver thing to his left. Rosberg decided to ignore it.

On a short lap like this we probably won't see the same lap time improvement from last year we would at some circuits, but if this is a two stop with relatively close battles at the front and a reasonably late second stop, we could see them within a second I'd say.
This is kind of along the same lines as what I was saying:

[don't know why they bother with lowest lap times - depends entirely on length of lap]

Much more interesting for me though is the proper, in-race, lap record, which could potentially be in jeopardy given the resurfacing that I wasn't previously aware of.

Last year fastest lap was three seconds off pole, so if they can do a 1:05 in qualifying then Michael's 1:08.337 (which was done on very low fuel because of his refuelling issues/fire) could potentially be achievable.

Given the difference in refuelling it would be a heck of a thing to see the lap record go (albeit not running here in 2004 has made all the difference to the current record).
1 tenth off the lap record. I said it would be close.

(An entire conversation I had with myself ;) )

Lauda says Nico had a problem with his breaks. So far he did not blame anybody of the two.
