I agree. Everything has to be perfect (or as close as to it).Pierce89 wrote:All aerodynamic work stopping because of one person is not very plausible IMHO. I honestly think the team needs more lower level engineering talent.
That's not what we are saying.Pierce89 wrote:All aerodynamic work stopping because of one person is not very plausible IMHO. I honestly think the team needs more lower level engineering talent.
One step at a time with the deflectors. They haven't even trialled the basic system in a race, yet. They are fully justified to trial it first before adding optimisations.marcush. wrote:I wonder why Merc has not picked up the baton with the sidepod cooling entry treatment adding deflectors to remove the stagnating air in front of the inlets and keeping the flow attached at the topsurface...
Also I miss a visible effort to cleanup the front brakedrums a la Sauber ,Ferrari and Williams.
It took them all there is to mimic hot exhaust blowing by the looks of things...the disconcerting detail here is:what does lotus know ....they have not opted to go the coanda route but still seem to find the speed -downforce levels and distribution necessary.
Did you want Haug to give a detailed technical briefing on exactly how their upgrades work, with detailed graphs showing the cause and effects?marcush. wrote:http://www.motorsport-total.com/f1/news ... 92020.html
So now Mr.Haug speaking again....
Basically he says -we don´t know if the upgrade works and if it works we don´t know where it will lift us -AS WE DON´T KNOW HOW MUCH TIME THE OTHERS HAVE FOUND WITH THEIR UPDATES...myohmy ...what a insight..they finally found out other teams could really find performance updating their cars. One has to ask who decides what all these are allowed to tell the world instead of telling stories they should tell the truth or shutup.
Man you gotta love Peter Sauber. He is just amazing. I'm glad his team is outperforming Mercedes. They truly deserve it.marcush. wrote:Don´t get fooled by british media .The tone is always very different there - even Autosport fails to admit when Schumacher is really delivering the goods ..it seems just alright with them to be a bit more critical of him ...maybe there is hope to help Hamilton or di Resta ,who knows .
MGP tried to sign Schumacher earlier this year ,Brawn wanted to ,but Schumacher declined.Don´t get confused it´s the lack of performance and Schumacher will not live on unfullfilled hopes for another year..other teams are willing to sign him.Sauber one of them.
Surely no one thought that Shumi was waiting to see if Merc would re-sign him. They're all praying that he can overcome their lack of competence enough that he decides its worth extending his comeback. Maybe, Mike can give this band of miscreants just enough direction to put out a top car(only to be shitty again the second Shumi leaves)zyphro wrote:Re. Sauber:
"I would take him immediately," Peter Sauber, whose Mercedes-backed sports car team provided the springboard for Schumacher's formula one career more than two decades ago, smiled to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
Schumacher isn't waiting on Mercedes, it's the other way round.
