TBH a 3-race ban would be a bit harsh- I'd have just banned him for one, or at the very least excluded him from quali, and another grid penalty for Monza. Though I suppose that greater penalties have been given for smaller things... (an example for me would be Jerez 1997- yes Schumacher did it on purpose, but it wasn't malicious or pre-meditated, which I have no doubt this was)Pup wrote:Meh. Mansell is the guest steward and he isn't exactly Hamilton's biggest fan. I'd have given Chavez' boy a three race ban too, but that's the way it is in F1.
A grid penalty for crashing into one of the race contenders out of revenge. Bit of a laugh, isn't it?
Interesting to hear Maldonado say that he was comfortable with the overtake into the last chicane, as there was no contact. For Lewis he needs to realise that he is 'the marked man' and that he cannot win in these situations. For Mansell, who I can recall grabbing Ayrton Senna by the throat after he ran both off track strangely enough at Spa, would have a unique understanding of what constitutes "causing a collision".flynfrog wrote:those don't count they weren't hamiltons faultraymondu999 wrote:IIRC 3 reprimands equals a 10-grid drop.
