Leclerc's bad luck needs to be studied.

Good drives by both drivers. If only quali pace had been there.

Great recovery drives. Surprisingly good call by the pitwall to tell Leclerc to give the position back. A 5 sec penalty would have been very costly. With all that said, Redbull and Mclaren are way too far ahead even in race trim.

Felt like watching silverstone 2023 again πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Leclerc kept on old tyres, teammate gets fresh rubber and just wizzs past. Its just that it was not for a win.

Was there any chance Hamilton giving leclerc DRS to hold Albon behind ?

not a chance for ham since oscar was just right there for the taking too. 2 more laps and he wouldve been through. stupid tractor taking so long to recover.

He should have been given the penalty. He pushed Albon off and awarded Hamilton the position. Stupid move to say the least. Zero respect on track.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

That what's makes it more annoying. It's hard to compete for the win/podium when you start behind the midfielders.

i mean sure but ham was gunning for a podium, the pace difference between the two of them was too big to not let Lewis give it a go at getting Piastri and he could have, had the satefy car not been so long because the recovery vehicle drove all the way back instead of just parking up where Kimi's car was

Theres a difference between saying they could have gotten p4 during quali, which was what Fred was saying but at no point did Ferrari look like they could get vs getting it during the race

Fair but he was talking about quali pace there, not race pace :D

Also don't the new rules allow for defending like that? Not sure what the big deal is. Other drivers get commended for similar moves and "hard racing" all the time.

Hunting down that car even with a tyre offset looks a longshot to me. 4-5 could have been a better outcome but well nobody knows.

Lewis had the pace to get Piastri. 2 more laps and he would have had at least one go at it I reckon.

I am not sure the 2026 floor is going to be flat.
If that is floor for 2026, that is flat floor + diffuser.
