Looking at the time between the two drivers i´d say they learned nothing really.

The rest ran with more fuel, Mercedes in particular.
I thought MW had a "more-downforce"-package while SV had a "more-highspeed"-package. I read that MW lost in sector 1&3 and could catch up in sector 2.
SV was the other way round, lost in sector 2 and had very good sector 1&3.
IMO it does make sense in terms of packages SV and MW used.

Questions now of a boycott. Paul Hembrey is stating the reason of failure as debris, coincidentally (or not) exactly the same reason as in Silverstone, after which they were forced to revert to different tyres. At least the tyres aren't failing so dramatically, they aren't delaminations, just punctures. To be honest, if a tyre does fail somewhere on the track, you're never going to be in a great position, but if one fails up Eau Rouge or Blanchimont, well, a trip to Liege hospital could well be in place if the worst comes to the worst... Let's hope not! [-o<

Yea that might be, i don´t have acess to telemetry while watching but i thoguht i heard Webber lost 8 tenths in first sector however it could have very well have been second sector.
either way they ran two different configurations and ended up with the same result, i´d like to see how they deal with that issue.

Is it fair to say RBs low downforce setup means they might struggle in wet conditions?

Their only poles have been on the wet but might it be a case of tables turned if it turns very wet tomorrow?
I hope so for the championship

Hope it was debris :)
Force everbody to qualify on the hards and only switch to medium on the last stint?

Everyone will just go down a notch on the camber/toe settings and they will be fine.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

You know, if you cry 'debris' so often, no-one are going to believe you when there finally is a real debris issue...

Did Sergio damage his car somehow? Does anyone know if Perez crashed during free practice 3'? Why is it that McLaren was making repairs to his car. Repairing what'?

Thank you if you know and can share.

I believe his floor came loose at the front. Could have been Button's floor as well, not sure.

Since its Saturday were can we get the top speed of the cars at the end of kemmel straight? RB is always fastest just after Eau Rouge (short gearing) but I want to know top speed.

Also I think Alonso has a really long 7th ratio (source- my ears)and will be really helpful if the car has to pass people in race (often which is true). Merc looks to lack front downforce especially noticeable in turn 10; may be its a deliberate setup to not burn out rear tyres.

From onscreen graphics and telemetry I'd think. Not many other sources

Mercedes' pace looks worrying. Or maybe they're just sandbagging.
