Mercedes just didn't think they would lose 10 seconds behind traffic after the first stop. That seems to be what has done the damage.

I don't think so. If I was HAM I'd be furious, too. They should have given him mediums, like ROS. It is all very odd.

Yes, looks rather like ROS catching HAM than HAM catching VET at the end.

All racing drivers moan when it's not going their way. That's why they're racing drivers.

Ham went H/M/H
Ros went H/H/M

Simple strategy calls.

No. HE HAD NO MORE NEW MEDs! He had no chance to make new MEDs last over 14 laps!

Nothing to moan about, he just did not make his tires last.

A great recovery drive from Kimi, let's not forget. Bit unlucky in qualifying and then the puncture in the race but still fought his way back through the field - albeit in an obviously quick car.

He definitely had more Mediums. He never used more medium tires in Qualifying then Rosberg to my knowledge.

Rosberg went hard, medium. Hamilton has gone medium, hard. They have used the same amount

Was clearly on the radio...
And for what? ROS killed his MEDs now in 9 laps and can not keep the pace of HAM. So MEDs are a good choice???

What's interesting is that Vettel, had he gone 3 stops with the Mercedes, would be about 15s behind Hamilton. The ability to keep the tyres together allowed the quicker strategy in this case.

Yea i´d take Mediums any day of the week. With the Hard you´re royally f*cked no matter what you do since the other guy is having the exact same compound.

Rosberg is doing 42,9s right now. With 2-3 laps newer tires then Hamilton.

Rosberg & Hamilton are on contra strategies in the 3 & 4 stint. H/M/H to H/H/M.
