The drinks company toying with all the other teams. Even at a track were downforce wasnt a premium.

They will crush everyone else even more at the next GP.

Like I said earlier no jets on the red bull.

So they could put the weight where they like and don't have the handeling issues. So as we found in 2009 kers does not always make your car faster. It's interesting

No KERS! So much speculation about start-up mini KERS... :(

Not even 6 tenths can help Alonso to overtake Petrov.

That depends... Horner just said that it was because Newey wouldn't compromise on the aero and they're having problems fitting it in to the car and making it reliable.

If McLaren can further enhance their car they'll be right up there with Red Bull but with the KERS advantage. I think if Lewis had used the hard tyres in the second stint and the bib hadn't broken then he may have been closer to Vettel and really pushed him in the final stint - possibly even going for a shorter final stint with the softs.

I find it fantastic. Even as a Ferrari fan this Red Bull team has such a great car. And probably at the next race at a more downforce track their superiority will show up even more.

Im in pain, but very, very well done Red Bull and Renault. Absolutly stunning result.

Half of the RedBull team toying...A 1-2 would be more convincing.Hamilton and Petrov matched Vettels pace almost throughout the race.Props to Petrov for pulling it off with a set of dieing tyres and props to Hamilton for hanging in second most the race and with a damaged bottom.

All in all a not so boring race.Still it could be better.Moving to Sepang! =D>

To be fair, when Alonso caught up to Petrov the race was about to end. A few more laps and the Russian might not have sprayed champagne.

Shumi got dsq when he damaged his floor in 1994. Lets see how the stewards will hold up the Mclarens result.

Great start of the season! Kudos to Petrov and Perez, both of them showing up their more experienced (and supposedly faster) teammates.

And plenty of teams have been able to pass scrutineering when they have had damaged cars, even being allowed to replace damaged parts so that they pass the weight checks.

Remember Kimi Raikkonnen finishing a race with a broken exhaust that didn't pass the minimum radius rules? Cars finishing races with broken front wing end plates? Cars missing parts of the floor due to damage from a puncture?

The stewards are allowed to let a team pass scrutineering if there are extenuating circumstances such as obvious damage to the car. The difference with Schumacher was that they damaged the floor by running wide so the floor was the damaged part, which they couldn't prove was because Schumacher went off or if it was general wear and tear throughout the race. In McLaren's case the bib stay has broken which has led to damage to the floor, something that can be clearly demonstrated.
