I thought that a lot of people on this board were too over the top with FIA and Steward's bias but to me it gets clearer each race that their hatred/bias against Lewis starting to stink.

Great drives from Schumacher and Button.Solid drive from Webber too as SV favoured by the Safety Car a tad bit yet again.
Well considering that he went into the pits in the lead by about 6 seconds and then came out in 5th or a bouts I don't think he scored anything at all...add the fact that his tyres were crap right from word go and he really did well to battle through the ranks up to a win 8)
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

Nonsense. Look in the mirror while you're looking in the apex?
Kobayshi shouldn't be there turning in on the outside so far down.

If it was reversed i don't even have to ask your opinion on it; cause i know who you'd blame.

Why not talk about the rest of the race?
Hamilton wasn't in it?
For Sure!!

Great drives from Schumi and Button. Shame for Hamilton as he would've been in the mix. Ferrari must be a little confused as to where the pace went but all in all a fantastic race.

Where was Kamui supposed to go in your opinion? Hamilton was drifting left all the way up the hill and finally poor Kobayashi had no place to go. Lewis had it in his hand to watch his mirrors and leave Koba more room, but I guess he never thought that Kamui was even along side him. So the accident was pretty inevitable.

How can you reason that?
he should have looked in his mirrors.

I presume he did not though that Koba was behind him with him having DRS activated and Koba not.
Yeah, it seemed like both of them had DRS enabled. Can it be checked if there was a problem in the system? Or was Kobayashi setup like Roseberg/Schumacher? Or was the tow/slipstreaming enough?
Also why was there a safety car? It seemed not necessary.

As far as I'm concerned, Hamilton moved to defend, and then took the entry to the corner. He was moving back across the track and went a bit too far. I say 50% hamilton for moving too far over, 50% kobayashi for being somewhere dumb.

I hate pretending to be Hamilton's lawyer here (not that he needs it anyway but just for the heck of it):

When Hamilton hits someone from behind coz hes not nowhere to go is in blame and should have braked out of it but poor Kobayashi has nowhere to go?I think Sauber got brakes too.

In any way i am not pointing to you directly but many other people stood this opinion in the past...Your post just triggered my response.

Im tired to see so many double standards. :|

Hamilton is a victim again! This time, he didn't escape. I think if Kob/Ham incident is worth getting a penalty then similar case Massa/Ham in the final lap Silverstone should get one too. To me, it was just a racing accident.

What a race though. Despite being a dry race, the lengthy DRS zone made overtaking very easy. It also play to the hands of driver like Schumacher and Button.

Red Bull has done well and as usual the better of the 2 driver had won the race. Did u guys saw the interview, Button reminded Vettel of last year's incident! haha.....

Couldn't have said it better.

And for all of those who think Button can't do it in the dry, there you have it. If only he hadn't started 13th.

I will DELETE any further "who is in the wrong" posts about Kobayashi vs Hamilton. Here's why:

Whithmarsh, Hamilton, el66, beelsebob: Hamilton got hit, he was on the racing line
fenix4life, me, Jordan: Koba was partly aside, not behind so did not HAVE TO lift. Hamilton did move to the left, but perhaps could not see the Sauber was there (blind spot).

Result: Racing incident. End Of Story.

Yep, I have no idea why people think driver of the day is such a difficult thing to decide today – Button's drive was absolutely brilliant. Down in 19th by no fault of his own, and an absolute storm back through the field.

Remember the saftey car had a lot to do with Button's fortune.
Without it, he may have been scrapping with the Mercedes.

Can agree there, although it seemed like Kobayashi was starting to turn in, both accidently hitting each other. Too bad for Hamilton, guess his engineer forgot to tell him to look out too :D
Would just describe this as an race accident

I honestly don't see why you always have to do this. Whether you agree or not, safety car or not, Jenson was the fastest guy out there today.
