That tests also tell nothing concrete. So you have totaly right!yener wrote: Ferrari and Redbull are collecting data to "calibrate" the CFD and windtunnel. For that they are using visible measurement parts on the car.
I think it isn't that easy. Brand new ideas (just like the front wing f-duct) needs some development time and then tons of fine-tuning. It also needs to work with other parts of the car. If they start gathering information in February, I bet it will be late.yener wrote:If they have something new which will gain them time, they won't show till they present the wo3 or before the start of the next season.
Car designed around exhaust blowing sucks when not exhaust blowing. News at 11.Mr.S wrote:Just saw the new time. The long runs were super SLOW though. Very High 1-40's.
Anyways the car was pretty slow the last 2 days.Pretty slow, whatever fuel they were testing. The track has got quicker, last year it was 2s quicker within 1 day or 2. This season even with loosing EBD Sam Bird should have done a much quicker time.He is 1s off Nico's pace, after 3 full days of running(no set-up compromise like all drivers have to do somewhat for a race).
