Button has incredible pace, so much faster than the Red Bull. 3.4 seconds in two laps!

That Williams looks better than the Ferrari at the moment. Alonso seems less happy now the fuel has burnt off.

Took three laps for the Red Bulls tyres to come up to speed and match McLaren's pace.

He had all four wheels off the circuit pushing into the side of Senna. Was that a red mist moment or had he already picked up a puncture?

Interesting that we have a role reversal from last year with McLaren having better pace but Red Bull having better tyre life. Last year at the beginning of the year it was the other way around (small margins in both cases).

I wonder if it's going to be easier to extend the life of the tyres than bring additional pace.

Master class from Jenson.

This definitely plays into Button's hands as well though, at least on this track surface.

McLaren show they have the best pace by quite a margin at the beginning of a stint but are using up their tyres a bit more quickly.

Vettel gifted a lot by a safety car.
I think there is a possibility Vettel would have had Hamilton even without the SC, but who knows....

Button is just massive, it's just the reversed version of last year, no1 driver at McLaren (Button) in the fastest car pulls it off in a dominant manner, followed by RedBull no1 driver in the slightly inferior car. Funny isn't it? :D

Was just about to give drive of the day to Maldonado but he's just binned it. Bit unfortunate with the car jumping out on him like that over the kerb.
