Schumacher climbs to the top in the second Friday practice

Schumacher climbed to the top as he posted the quickest time as the second free practice session of the Australian GP. He had been third in the opening one, but was beaten by both McLarens. This time around though, the McLarens had a different program in mind and were farther back. Leaving youngsters Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez to complete the podium.

A notable event was Kobayashi's save of an oversteery exit, where he ended up sideways on the track instead of against the barriers!
