Alonso did well in the opening stint, but the Red Bull is at least .6s per lap faster in Spa.
What must he be thinking about the team he is driving for?
I would want to be in the Red Bull.

Looks like Webber has had the best of his tyres. Doesn't look likely to be troubling Rosberg now.

Yes yes yes and yes again....flawless drive from Seb for 25 points...controlled all the way...superb! It was the move on Lewis in lap one that set it up...no looking back...the set up for the race with low down force was a great strategy and bodes well for the next race too.

Great drive from Alonso as well. 9 th to second...good stuff...

More or less an uneventful race except for Kimi's brake issues and the PdR's collision. Should be another win in Monza for RB/Vettel.

I've got to say it was a boring race. The leader was under no threat from anyone...
Great drive from Alonso

- Boooring Spa as usual without rain on and off
- Mercedes' race pace turned out to be questionable (as predicted)
- Alonso pulled one out of the hat again, reminding he is not to be underestimated (as predicted, what was it, only Hamilton vs Vettel?), pity it matters little and will be taken for granted
- RB comfortable but without competition (Merc, Lotus, Alonso in qualifying)
- time to call off one driver exists policy at Lotus, but I wouldn't hold my breath knowing them, too little too late anyway, instead of scoring in the first half with both drivers, team orders, updates distribution and another failed WDC campaign
- DRS too easy

Interesting! Hamilton let Alonso past in T1 hoping to take the place back under DRS but the Ferrari was too fast ina straight line.

Body language in the cool down room was striking. Lewis and Seb joking. Alonso depressed.

Yup.. Alonso was more interested in getting his hat on! Well, Lewis knows he is out of running for the WDC so he is just enjoying getting the most out of his new team and gearing up for 2014. Alonso is thinking "For sure, nothing I do is ever good enough..."

Alonso playing his cards close to his chest. Listening to the other two and trying to get information, I'd bet.

I do wonder if Spa shouldn't have DRS, at least not on the Kemmel Straight.
