Pirelli changed the tyre pressures overnight again?
Was this ever a common thing under the likes of GoodYear and Bridgestone?
I think they'll just take the engine out if it still can work. Everything else is a write-off.
These types of crashes were the reason skirts were banned. I really don't think Tsunoda did anything wrong here, the car looked almost straight and just lost grip/downforce on landing from the kerb.
This is where commentators mislead the viewers. The car didn't lose control because it happened to go over the kerb. The car lost control because the driver, despite knowing that he has climbed over a kerb, added steering input before the wheel fully landed back. This is pure driver error.
No, the car was bouncing while the car was still loaded up. This is a really common crash scenario. Too much curb, and the car is bouncing while the car is still asking for a lot of side load.venkyhere wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:19This is where commentators mislead the viewers. Look on the replay as the car came down. It started to oscillate or bounce. He could not have saved it, maybe just not take so much curb in the first place, but again the car is too delicate. It should not be that a little jump takes away so much performance. That's why everyone is avoiding the curbs. The formula has created a narrow mode of operation. One line and one driving style to get the best lap time. Pretty unnecessary and boring.venkyhere wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:19This is where commentators mislead the viewers.
