Chandhok to drive German GP

Post

Trulli to be replaced by Chandhok, for just one race for now, until the power steering is ammended so that Trulli can drive the T128...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula ... 220866.stm

Seeing Trulli fester at the bottom is saddening, just 5/6 years ago he was the man to beat over one lap, a real pole man, and will always be remembered for his legendary Trulli trains.

Good to see Chandhok, one of the most likeable drivers back on the grid though, and also a historic moment for F1, with an Asian driver driving for an Asian team for the first time.

Thoughts and comments, no bashing please...

This is part of the Trulli appraisal pre new power steering, as they want to see Chandhok over a weekend and see what he can do over a weekend to Heikki.

If Jarno cant beat Heikki over the end of season races, with the new steering, i think he could be gone. Or step over aside for Karun, and possibly Valsecchi as well for one race.

Im happy for Karun as he can show what he couldn't with the T128 that he couldn't with the Hispania F110 last year.

Jarno will be back in Hungary, when the steering could be finally fixed by then. Or at least to Jarnos liking as i believe that Team Lotus have been seeking a solution from Jarnos old team Toyota on the T128s steering problems.

the cars are really different a lot ..so i donยดt think there is any interchangeability ..and if i remember correctly they had Steering hydraulics issues there as well.
