Other technical F1 blogs/publications

Post

Hey all.

I love the F1 Tech forums, and the knowledge that you can gain from here. However I also love a good read on tech articles etc. I subscribe to bar555 and scarbs' blogs, as well as the development blog, and articles of F1T. Anyyone know of any other good online sources?

How about magazines? I subscribe to racecar engineering, F1 Racing and Autosport, which contain good technical F1 information IMO. Is Race Tech Mag any good? Any other good mags?

Cheers!

Raymond,

I noticed you are on twitter now, it is the resource for F1 IMO. Just follow the right people and you will wonder how you ever survived without it
Scarbs, Peter Windsor, hoagy plus other engineers who work in f1 will give you the low down on most things. Just check their follow list and cherry pick the ones suitable to you.

There are many insiders on twitter, but alot of them protect their tweets .... Sadly :(
Either way I will have a look at my list and let you know the really good ones... Doesn't hurt to follow some drivers either.
Poor ant davidson broke some bones last week in an accident on a mountain bike... Not F1 related granted... But not covered by the media either... Sad as I really enjoy his free practice commentary.

What about unreliable sources though? I mean, for example, if you were looking for an article that was technically correct, you wouldn't go to Peter Windsor or Joe Saward for example. And let's not even start on Planet F1 and their hideous news stirrups and misleading headlines

Joe "wayward" is not a point I would use for reliability. Saying that he does muse alot on his blogs and provides an alternative view. Most the time sadly, 2 and 2 makes 6 for Joe. Entertaining, and educated but not overly reliable.

Planet F1 is the news of the world of f1 news. Funnily enough, they're in partnership with sky... A Murdoch connection.

Usually following a team, team members(if you know whom to follow.... And IF they haven't protected their tweets). Lotus and Williams are the 2 teams with sublime coverage. When I have my laptop I will sort a few links as getting them on my iPhone is near impossible to do.
