Discuss about a technical drawings!!

Hi all,

How can one get hold of tech drawings for a F1 car? I’ve tried the internet for weeks now but no info on what I need. I know it’s a very close kept secret for the newer cars but there must be some info out there on say 2006-2007 cars. Reason for my search is that I could possibly have a good idea for a car, but due to being in good ol South Africa we don’t get F1 races here anymore so we don’t get to see a F1 car up close. Lets say the idea could possibly work, how do you take your idea to the next level or to the right person but dont get the idea "stolen" or "used" without getting paid for it? Is there a copyright for this type of thing?

That would be gold right there. Do you mean drawings for the body alone? or EVERYTHING? Assembly drawing folders are dauniting!
