300 Grand Prix Club to get another member?

Post

If Michael is still in Formula 1 for the next full season, he will join Rubens as the second driver to compete in 300 Grand Prix's.

Assuming he starts all races from now 'til that point; which GP would he get his 300th? Also not entirely sure your last choice in the poll should be there; he's contracted for next year, still

It should be around either Singapore or Japan, up to him which he really considers the milestone, I think he'll take it at Japan though.

Huh? Surely there can only be 1 which is 300th, the other would be the 299th or 301st; no?

My bad it might actually be at Spa or in Italy, that'd be nice, would be a hard choice for him. Its two because Michael would have 288 races and 287 starts at the end of this year, they said the same with Rubens his races and starts were offset... so it all goes by what he considers.

I believe 300 GPs is usually counted via starts and not participations normally; which one was the one that formed the 1-race offset?

Officially it is count as non participation since we was not on the starting grid.
Same thing with all michelin drivers engaged in Indy GP 2005

It was counted as a non-start. But because he drove in the grand prix weekend he participated in it I believe. The Michelin runners participated in Indy 2005; but didn't start

I checked back. The official stat for Michael is his "official" 300th would be Singapore 2012, but disputed because of the aborted Silverstone 1999 start. Otherwise it would be Monza 2012
