Ways to watch f1?

Post

Hello all, I have an interesting problem facing me for the upcoming 2012 season. I recently dumped my television provider in an effort to save some money. My entire family watches streaming television and movies so i figured ther was no reason to continue to pay for regular television if noone was watching it. and because of this I save about 100 dollars a month.

but now here is my problem. I realize that I will not be able to watch any live or full f1 sessions in 2012. Does any one know how or if I will be able to watch f1 over the internet or any other streaming devices. Please help, the season is coming up and I don't want to miss anything or have to get television service reinstalled. I live in the north eastern united states.

Justin.tv is a great way to stream, there is a whole section of the site devoted to racing and most of the channels there are constantly streaming old f1 races during the off season and in between races during the season. You can also torrent (download the races) you can pm me if you want more info on that.

There are plenty of streams provided by proxy. That info is not necessary until we get closer to practice. Any info posted on this site is in peril of being closed by the people tasked to find these Sites/streams and shut them down. My advice is to wait and post a request to a link on the preseason testing threads, and or the race threads, as the address of the streams are usually not available untill about 1/2 hour before the start of each broadcast. One will be PM'ed to you. There are some pay sites I've heard of, but I only watch these streams during the commercials on SpeedTV.
Chill bro, we have you covered.

So you want to get something for nothing. Great.

Excuse me jersey tom. I never said I wanted to get something for nothing. I am more than willing to pay for it. All I wanted to know was are there any ways to watch F1 VIA a streaming portal instead of a television feed. I think it is pretty presumptuous and insulting of you to go there.

Satellite TV subscription in Germany comes with a streaming license. You can watch the stream from anywhere on earth via the inernet if you have a license.

Just got away from satelite tv. I am looking for a streaming service like netflix or hulu or even a pay per view type service. What is the deal with kangaroo tv.

In the UK a lot of football is pay per view without needing a subscription.

I wonder if you can do the same for F1 where you are?

I've also been without cable for a while now, and I really don't miss it other than watching F1 (and my Cincinnati Reds). I've recently been thinking about purchasing a Roku so I can play Netflix and MLB.tv on my TV, rather than getting a cable subscription. I know that SpeedTV streams a lot of their content on their website, but does anyone know if they make their content available on a Roku (or other similar device - the Western Digital Live TV looks appealing), whether for free or by subscription?

Speed does have some of their content on roku, but it is very limited and it is not live. I've watched some f1 on Justin tv but the quality is poor. Other than not having f1, the roku is awesome and u will like it.
